1. Begin at the ends of longer hair and work gradually toward the body.
2. Hold the coat near a tangle to reduce pulling on skin.
3. Use short, gentle strokes in the direction of hair growth.
4. Stop if the comb catches; separate the tangle before continuing.

Remove trapped hair after use. Wash with mild soap and water if needed, then dry thoroughly to protect the comb and handle.

Do not force through mats or use on irritated, wounded or infected skin. Severe matting should be removed by a professional groomer or veterinarian.
